Andok’s BBQ Dinner
I was craving for pork BBQ so I started to think on where I can buy some on the streets. However, the only place I knew at time was out of our way so we decided to buy some at a Andok’s Litson outlet along the way. We ordered Pork BBQ and Barbeque Liempo.
Their pork barbeque is bigger than the one you can buy on the streets. They used bigger chunks of pork and that affected the tenderness (not as tender as other bbqs). However, taste-wise, it is still yummy and it is not too hard on your teeth. It came with vinegar that was more spicy than sour. I would have wanted it to be sour but as long as it complements the pork barbeque well, I have no complains.
The liempo came with a spicy soy sauce for you to dip in. It had a sweet marinate and if you dip it into the sauce, you would get a sweet and spicy combination. Somehow, the flavor reminds me of tocino but I could be wrong. It was juicy and easy to chew. They have grilled it well.
I lost count of how many times I got a refill of rice (oh my poor stomach) but pork BBQ with vinegar never fails to bring out the rice beast in me. Andok’s is a great place to eat in due to their delicious food and affordable price. If only they offer unlimited rice…
Till next time,
