Book and Borders Cafe Opens at Eastwood
Following the success of their two branches; Book and Borders Cafe opens their third branch at Eastwood.
The first two branches of Book and Borders are at Tuscany, Mckinley Hill, Taguig City and Tomas Morato, Quezon City. The Tuscany branch is so near where I work but I haven’t tried them out yet. So this visit to Eastwood (even though it was far), marks my first visit to Book and Borders.
As the name implies, Book and Borders is a cafe where you can find books for you to borrow and read as you unwind into their cozy chairs. It is like a mini library with lots of books waiting in their bookshelves. It’s a place where one can unwind; take a sip of one’s favorite drink, read books, or simply hang out with friends or family.
At the event, we saw the ribbon cutting ceremony. It was followed by a buffet of special dishes and while we were getting our tummies filled; Karylle, (their brand Ambassador), filled the place with her lovely voice as she sang a few songs.
Now let us go to some of the food from their menu. They have rice meals for those who want to read, dine and unwind…
But for those who simply want to eat sweets; they have you covered as well with cake slices.
Lastly, hot and cold drinks are also available.
Book and Borders offer a unique experience in the cafe world dominated by coffee shops. It has a brightly lit ambiance that makes it conducive for bookworms, students and for those who simply want to relax. It’s great that it is near our office so I can easily drop by and sleep; i mean, unwind a long day at work.
Disclosure: Book and Borders paid for our meal.
Till next time,
