Chowking Launches Breakfast Chao Fan and more
Breakfast.. as they say is the most important meal of the day but to many of us; it is more of a luxury in our busy lives.
In an ideal state, one wakes up calmly at the sounds of birds chirping and does slight stretching. After a while, one can go to the shower and enjoy a bath while looking forward to the hot breakfast set at the table. One takes his time in enjoying his first meal day and once done, he prepares to go to work.
In the real world… that doesn’t happen a lot because usually we are rushing our way to our morning work. We skip as much preparations as we can and that means, no breakfast but a quick coffee here or an energy drink there or simply, nothing as we leave the house.
So here comes Chowking with their breakfast meals that are quickly served and are very filling. We attended a media launch to have a preview on what these will be.
First on our list would be the Breakfast Chao Fan which would be the Pork Chao Fan with Egg and Pork Chao Fan with Egg and Siomai. Fried egg was added to what has been my regular order in Chow King. As is it, pork chao fan is very filling already and the egg makes it a complete breakfast meal.
Next up would be the Chinese Pork Longganisa; a dish made from Taiwanese sausage. It also had a fried egg to go with it. This was Chowking’s version of Longsilog to add to their existing Tocilog and Tapsilog breakfast meals. This isn’t your sweet lonnganisa (or was that chorizo I’m thinking about).
With these (not necessarily limited to breakfast only), comes three more dishes to complete the Chowking Breakfast Meals.
Personally, nothing has changed to my preferences as I’ll still be getting the Pork Chao Fan with Siomai as my regular; and if I want more protein on my Chowking Breakfast, then I’ll add the egg.
Disclosure: Chowking paid for our meals.
Till next time,
