Conti’s Baked Salmon
I’d like to dedicate this post to the baked salmon from Conti’s. I’m really glad that despite years since my last taste of their salmon; I’m glad that the taste didn’t change and there wasn’t even a noticeable price increase (cough Mango Bravo cough).
So once again, let me show you why this remains on my list of comfort food. First off, it comes with buttered veggies (but we got a salad instead which I believe was a fair trade). Next would be two mini scoops of their paella rice which serves as a palate cleanser if you had too much of their…
…. which brings me to the star of the show which would be their baked salmon. Well, actually it is more of the topping that sets it apart. According to what I’ve read, it was made from parmesan cheese thus explains the mild saltiness I could taste from it. It effectively counters the “fishy” smell and taste of the salmon for a great combo!
It still remains as their best seller and for a good reason. Now I’m looking forward to when I can visit again and I already know what I’ll order.
