Go Greek Dinner

Go Greek! Dinner

Go Greek

Go Greek! is a food stall in Glorietta 4’s Food Choices. It is located at the edge where the nice seats are and they serve Greek cuisine. I have seen them since 2009 but I just got to try them this year. They offer platters (steak, beef, chicken, kebab, lamb), Greek pasta and Greek dips (such as Feta cheese).

Go Greek Steak Platter

Steak Platter – 255

The steak took a while to be cooked as it wasn’t half cooked so they had to grill the steak from the freezer. The platter includes salad, dip with bread and rice. The steak was tender, had this fresh-off-the-grill taste and a bit salty (can taste the big grains of salt).  As for the dip, at first I thought it was feta cheese but it was more like coleslaw but it was flavorful. As for the salad, well, salad is salad and they used vinaigrette for the dressing.

Go Greek Hummus

Hummus – 65

While choosing a dip, we were advised to try out the hummous (hummus) since it is one of their best sellers. We obliged and got one order for appetizer. Here’s what I learned about Hummus, it is Arabian and of Greek Origin. It is made of chickpeas, sesame, lemon, garlic and other ingredients Wikipedia didn’t specify.

As for the taste, we can’t really describe it as it was totally new to our taste. It was creamy and had this powdery or grainy texture. I can’t really say it was delicious because we can’t understand the taste.

Go Greek Baked Mac

Greek Baked Mac – 65

It was either this or Moussaka and since we have already tried the Moussaka, we opted to get the baked mac. If you are used to the regular baked mac that has a lot of tomato sauce, you will find this one lacking in it. It has a lot of cheese on top but the flavor was lacking. Cheese alone can’t save it and they need to add more tomato sauce (unless that’s how it really should be). However, I just want to note that their serving size for their price is big!

Well, that’s for my curiosity of Go Greek! I’d like to try out their lamb chops and shawarma in the future.

Till next time,
