Hot Dinner at A Veneto Napoli Pizzeria Ristorante

After coming from the gym, We landed in A Veneto Napoli Pizzeria Ristorante in Glorietta 3 after wondering for a while where to eat.

When we entered the place, we noticed that it was unusually hot and we were informed by the waiter later that their air-conditioner wasn’t working. It looks like they did not have a back-up for this so it really felt like an oven there but we still continued to order and eat there.

I have been to A veneto before but usually on occasions so I just eat what I see in front of me without knowing their names. This was my first experience in holding their menu so as I studied the contents (prices around PHP 200-300).

A Veneto Oil and Garlic with [Italian/Hungarian] Sausage

I forgot whether this was Italian or Hungarian. I have named it Hungarian but there is a tingling sensation that keeps on telling me, Italian! Now, this is the dish for the health conscious  people out there, Pasta with Olive oil and Garlic and of course, without the sausage. From first glance, I could see pesto (those little green stuffs) on it and I said to myself, I’m going to be feeling these little green stuff in my mouth when I’ll be eating it. I don’t know why but sometimes I feel disturbed while chewing my food if there’s pesto on it.

But don’t let my own problems distract you from this food as this tasted great. I had to add parmesan cheese on it to get rid of the “pesto” feeling but you can eat it without and it would still taste great. Let me guess, the purpose of the sausage is that you can chew something else when you want something else? I’m not really so sure on that though. Overall, nice choice :)

A Veneto Parmigiana with Seafood Pasta

First of all, I’m very sorry that the 2nd picture of the pasta looks very messy. I really have no idea what I was doing and I just mixed it around then took a picture.

I had a hard time pronouncing Parmigiana so let me just call it “spageti” for short. This spageti dish was delicious and sour. I’m not really that fond of sour pasta but this one just had the right amount of sourness that won’t make you cringe (datu puti anyone?) On top, it was covered with cheese then when you mix it, you will see some pieces of mussels and shrimps.

A Veneto All Meat Pizza

As certified meat-lovers, this was our choice for the Pizza. Sad to say, there seemed to be no spark in it when you compare it to the previous two pasta dishes. Perhaps it is because it was the last one to be served and we already had generous servings of pasta or, it simply did not have any spark. It tasted just like any all meat pizza that you can order at other pizza places. =(

Overall, I liked their food and the servings are quite huge that one order can already serve two. We were like gluttons there because we ordered three dishes but I insisted because I wanted more content for this blog. We can always do the “takehome” technique right?
