Lemon I Café in Boracay

It’s a bit of a challenge to pick places to eat in the long list in Boracay when you have limited time. I have heard good things about Lemon I café (or is it Lemoni café? ) and their must try lemon cheesecake. So after taking a stroll at the beach after our lunch at I Love Backyard BBQ, we went back to D’Mall to try out Lemon I Café.

If you are coming from the beach front entrance, there’s a chance that you might miss this place because the sign is facing towards the “beach-back” (I mean towards the other entrance). Just look for a restaurant with an open entrance in the corner or if you see a restaurant that has a mini showcase of its yummy looking desserts, then that would be Lemoni Café.

My first impression was that they would only have desserts and drinks for their menu so I was surprised that they also offer a la carte meals. Since we already had our meal, we only had room for dessert and what else should we order if not for their last remaining piece of Lemon Cheesecake. I also want to give a special mention to their other best seller, the Belgian Chocolate Flourless Cake, which unfortunately, we didn’t try.

So now… going back to the reason why we visited Lemoni Café

Lemon I Cafe Lemon Cheesecake

Lemon I Café Lemon Cheesecake – PHP 155

Lemon cheesecake with whipped cream and chocolate on top and with strawberry syrup on the side. I liked how they presented this because it looked very appetizing. It has a tinge of sourness when you eat it on its own so I guess that’s where the syrup and chocolate comes in to balance that with sweetness. Texture-wise, it was easier to slice compared to the other cheesecakes I have tried.

It was really good but serving size could be a bit bigger.

Till next time,
