Max Restaurant Opens in Global City with Chicken All You Can
January 27, 2010
Last Thursday, I was invited to the Max Restauran’t in Global City for their special opening night for bloggers. I had a funny experience with the security there because when I asked about where I can park, they told me that it is opening tomorrow. Imagine the embarrassment I would have felt if I simply went there as a normal diner. I kindly told him that I have an invite as a blogger and they offered free valet parking. (my first time to avail valet parking) . They are opening on January 28 but we, bloggers, were invited to check it out before they formally open.
We were treated to a repeat of the Chicken-All-You-Can (where I also enjoyed last year) and it was really worth the wait. Once again, Max’s Restaurant made me forget about my supposed “diet” where I should be limiting my calories as I was able to finish four (4) parts which is like one whole chicken. Also, before eating, we ate two plates of Max’s Bakery products. Actually, there should only be 1 plate per table but our companion got another plate from another table. It’s a good thing they did not notice.
After dining, we were given their ketchup product that has a hidden gem inside. The hidden gem is two gift certificates for 1/2 Max’s Fried Chicken. Also, we were given a mini cake from Max’s Bakery.
About the place, well, what can I say, I like how it looks. It looks simple and clean but it is good to the eyes. It is well lighted… aahhh, apologies, I’m not good in describing places so allow me to copy here the “press release” about the ambiance of the place. All I can say that it looks good!
“Stepping into Max’s Forbestown, customers marvel at the clean-cut architecture inspired by the store design of Budju Layug and Royal Pineda. The contrasting red and gray brick walls, wide glass panels and wooden trellises lend an impression of casual comfort and exhilarating outdoor ambiance.”
Once again, I would like to thank Max’s for the great opportunity to dine again at Max’s Restaurant.
Disclosure: The meal was sponsored by Max’s restaurant via a blogger event.
