Organique Acai Berry Juice Drink with Recipes
Berries are known to be a good source of anti-oxidants so they should be part of your diet. However, I recently knew about the king of berry or the top berry in the berry chain which would be acai berry.
Acai Berries (pronounced Ah-sah-ee) are berries from Brazil that have survived mother nature. Due to the frequent visits of mother nature to where they live, the berries have started to develop/evolve their own survival instinct to continue living. When people ate these berries, their survival skills got passed through health benefits (39 were listed here).
Through this discovery, several companies has started harvesting these berries to share it to the world. One of these companies would be Organique. Organique Acai launched way back in 2009 and has since then harvested acai berries from Brazil to be processed in California. Through a very strict process, the berries get bottled and consumers are guaranteed a high concentration of acai berries with no preservatives. They are very proud to have been given the USDA Organic Certification.
Organique Acai Premium Blend are stored in bottles and a serving is about 30 ml (once or twice a day) preferably before breakfast (and before meals). A bottle can last you a month and can be bought at retail stores / drug stores here at the Philippines. Please note that it is a food supplement and not a medicine.
We had a taste of Organique Acai at an event and it was delicious. Sad to say 30ml is just a small gulp. However, that was just a teaser as through the cooking of Chef Sau Del Rosario, we were treated to four recipes crafted with Organique Acai. Allow me to share them with you.
Organique Acai Recipes
Here are examples of yummy dishes that were created with the help of imagination and Organique Acai.
What does this mean? With imagination and experimentation, we can create new dishes with unique ingredients! As you might have noticed, the Acai Berry Juice is usually added last as a sauce or dressing as to keep the health benefits of the berry. Cooking it in high heat would destroy the nutrients and that’s something we need to avoid (else you are better off just drinking a shot!)
Disclosure: Organique sponsored our meals.
