Pizza Hut Tuscani Lasagna

Pizza Hut Tuscani Lasagna

Pizza Hut Tuscani Lasagna Pizza

When Pizza Hut unveiled its Tuscani Pizzas, I was happy because the pizza was very flavorful and it has become something I look forward to eating there. Recently I have been seeing a new variant for their Tuscani Pizza, the Lasagna version and this made me curious. Pizza and pasta, both in one? I wanted to try this out so I asked Jessa to eat at Pizzahut and I brought my gift certificate with me.

We ordered the following:

Pizza Hut Chicken Tenders

Chicken Tenders – PHP 175

Fried chicken and fries the comes with a sauce. The chicken itself had a hint of spiciness and if you want more spiciness, dip it into the sauce.  The fries were just so-so (fillers).

Pizza Hut Tuscani Lasagna Pizza2

Tuscani Lasagna Pizza – PHP 349

The main event of our meal. On first look, you would see that it has a lot of cheese, penne pasta and meat sauce (everything you need for a lasagna) for toppings and the tuscani pizza crust. What I like about their pizza crust is that it isn’t thick that you would be tasting more bread than toppings and it isn’t thin enough that it is already crunchy. The thickness of the crust is just right for you to enjoy the toppings. It took a few bites before I could feel the lasagna flavor of the pizza. Some of the pasta were hard already (similar to pasta that became over baked) especially on the edges but the pasta in the middle is still ok.

I took home a few slices and reheated them with steam. I’m surprised because I enjoyed the reheated version more compared to the original version. The difference? I ate it with my hands and the crust became softer (due to the steam).

Well my curiosity got satisfied and I enjoyed it a lot. If you are looking to eat delicious pasta and pizza in one, you won’t go wrong with the Pizza Hut’s Tuscani Lasagna Pasta.
