Sicilian Express (The Sicilian Pizza)
The first time I tried Sicilian Express was at their branch at Dapitan branch and I remembered eating a pizza that had mangoes and chicken on it. It was unique, sweet and for some reason, blended well. A few years later, I tried to visit them again but I couldn’t find their branch there anymore. The good thing was they also have a branch near where I work at McKinley Hill so a visit was planned.
From what I remember from my first visit; their pizza are usually have with two toppings only (unlike other pizza chains that load it up with a lot of toppings). But if you want more toppings, you can order extra toppings.
First up, we have the pasta. I have to say that I loved the sauce! It was creamy / milky like carbonara sauce but you would still be able to taste the tomato on it.

Next would our pizza. Hello again, tomatoes? See! I’m becoming an addict to tomatoes! For a pizza that looked so simple, it was good! It was juicy and you can really taste the ingredients on it. The crust doesn’t serve as a distraction which was a good thing.
Sadly, I couldn’t find the pizza with the mango toppings (not even in their website and now I’m starting to doubt myself) but we still enjoyed our dinner at Sicilian express. We had no complaints with the food, serving size and service.
