Starbucks Tagaytay Snack
It is getting dark which signals the end of our Tagaytay trip. It was a fun day and Jessa suggested we go to Starbucks to relax and see the overlooking view of Taal Volcano. When we went there, it suddenly poured so hard that we just decided to relax inside instead of staying at the balcony (where it was raining and very foggy so no view too).
Inside, we were thinking of what to eat (we just ate at Mushroom Burger). After browsing through the displayed items, I ordered Heaven on Earth while she ordered her favorite, Belgian Waffle with Chococolate syrup.
Starbucks Heaven on Earth – PHP 130
I never had plans to buy this but I was awed by the design so I wanted to try it. It tastes like chocolate mouse with cake breading below and the top layer tastes like coffee (or is it coffee?). I liked how to the taste seems to mix in your mouth where it would start with something sweet then once you swallow, you will taste the aftertaste of the top layer.
Starbucks Belgian waffle with chocolate syrup – php 75
Jessa’s favorite in Starbucks. A waffle with whipped cream on top then topped with chocolate syrup. I have tried a few belgian waffles but either they just have the syrup or ice cream on top of them so this combination is a first to me. I observed how Jessa would eat her serving. She would get a slice of waffle + whipped cream then she would rub it on the plate to get more syrup on it. I tried it too and it was delicious. The whipped cream enhanced the almost flavorless waffle and the chocolate syrup added some sweetness to it.

PS: not really sure if this was the Starbucks location we went to. All I remember was the branch had a balcony where you can look at Taal Volcano.
